Visual Direction
The visual illustration process for the dog character was inspired by the playful charm of retro rubber hose style. During the rendering process, the direction shifted away from clean and polished linework towards a more fluid, sketchy style with loose forms and tough textures. This decision helped reinforce the brand’s personality by making the character feel warm and approachable, complimenting well with the exaggerated pose.
