Commercial Client Work

United Nations Association Australia NSW Division

2024

The Student Placement & Volunteer Program (SPVP) was developed as a new initiative under the United Nations Association of Australia (NSW Division). The program aims to equip students and volunteers with real-world experience while generating tangible and measurable impact. With colourful characters based on the program’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we created a brand identity that was inviting, positive and diverse. Through strong typographic hierarchy and leading lines, the promotional materials become visually enticing, hoping to drive people to action!

I was assigned as one of the illustrators in my group, focusing on creating cohesive representitive characters for the brand. Translating them across print and digital collateral, ensuring that the brand assets and guildlines are consistently implemented.

SDG Characters

These illustrations feature a series of different colours characters that align with specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The distinct colours visually differentiate specific goals whilst reinforcing their individual themes and values. The character designs are diverse in age, race and gender, displaying the program’s inclusivity and engaging into a broader target audience. These illustrations aim to translate complex global objectives into approachable, engaging visuals, making the SDGs more accessible and easier to recognise across various applications.
